Hive Business Solutions, founded in 2020 in the beautiful coastal city of Virginia Beach, VA. Recognizing the gaps that often exist in primary insurance plans, our founders were inspired to create a company that prioritizes financial security and peace of mind for Businesses and Individual Families.

From the beginning, Hive Business Solutions has focused on understanding the unique needs of our clients. We believe that insurance should not be a one-size-fits-all solution. A team of dedicated professionals works closely with clients to offer tailored coverage options.

Katie and Kevin Moore, our founders, were born and raised here in Hampton Roads. So, the success of the local businesses and families off this area are top of mind for them. They started this business to help protect those that serve others in our area. Wether it be your local restaurant, doctors office, plumbing company or home health service company, with a combined 13 years in the industry, they have quickly become known for the level of care and service provided to their clients.

Katie has been a key member/manager of a variety of industries. Her focus has always been in the development of others within the business, collaborating with leadership to create successful training and development programs. In 2018, Katie found her place in the Insurance World, advising clients and developing relationships. Kevin graduated from VCU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. He has worked side by side with large firms in Hampton Roads to help create the "brand of their business" and launch success for companies. From Real Estate to Technology Firms, he had a hand in moving businesses forward with his creativity and ideas. Kevin believes having a dedicated team of insurance advisors helping clients is the only way to really be effective in navigating this insurance market. He focuses on recruiting quality team members and communications to our current and future clients.
